Republicans are incensed over our latest ad hitting John McCain for his commitment to 100 years in Iraq.
And they should be -- it is devastating to John McCain's campaign.
Below is the RNC-endorsed clip (transcript here):
This past Sunday, Governor Dean appeared on Meet the Press and hit the nail on the head in picking apart McCain's defense:

McCain is too old. He is too radical in many of his statements. He had to get Bush's permission to blast the Katrina treatment by Bush.
He is our Hero as a POW but he sayes too much.
He speaks which every way the wind blows. He speaks many things on his own and his advisors have to try and clean up his mess. He is done.
Too old? Is there an age limit unknown to other voters? Or are you discriminating based on age? Perhaps he is too white, too short, where will the list end.
List specifics too your points and stop the blow harding.
John McCain is incompetent. He`s a person who is beyond and unable to take this country in the direction it needs to go.If we continue down this road that our present administration has lead us on there will be nothing left. This nation cannot afford this debt and 70% of this country wants out of Iraq. Are you arguing that 70% of this country is wrong or are you blowing smoke? This isn`t about rhetoric. This is about the heart of our country.America is sick to death of these wars. These are all for corporate gains at our expense!
Fact is, McCain IS old. How can this man run any government? "My freinds..." He's a poor public speaker and he has the same problem Bob Dole had in 1996. As people see him they will understand that he is not the one to lead us out of this mess.
A perfect poll taken showed clearly that as people learn about his positions on Iraq and the economy, they abandon him in droves. He's a cooked turkey. Actually overcooked... Just imagine a debate between "my freinds" Mccain and Obama. Seriously, you think people will see him and feel comfortable? No way.
Really, let's just forget McCain. He's already lost and he just doesn't know it yet because he needs to take a nap first.
